Where Eye Care Feels Like Home

Welcome to Prairie Vision, your trusted local optometry clinic, where you’ll feel the warmth of a small-town atmosphere from the moment you walk in.

Our services cover all aspects of eye care, from comprehensive eye exams and vision therapy to specialized eye disease management and more. As an all-in-one eye care center, we’re proud to know our patients by name. We embrace the prairie-town feel with family photos around our welcoming center, creating a space that feels like home.

Our values of trust, integrity, kindness, and respect shine through in everything we do. Contact us to schedule your appointment and experience the Prairie Vision difference for yourself.

Serving Our Communities

We believe that quality eye care should be close to home. Guided by our motto, “small-town service, big-city technology,” we proudly serve residents from Wainwright and nearby communities, including Viking, Vermilion, Provost, and beyond—crossing into Saskatchewan to welcome patients from Lloydminster and Macklin.

We’re here for everyone. Whether you work in agriculture or the oil and gas industry, serve at a military base, have deep local roots, or are a newcomer to our community,  Prairie Vision is committed to making you and your family feel at home.

Giving Back to the Community

At Prairie Vision, community involvement is at the heart of what we do. Each year, we’re proud to participate in Optometry Giving Sight and support their World Sight Day initiative, which brings awareness and assistance to those in need of eye care worldwide.

Locally, we participate in events like the Wainwright Stampede and corn maze, connecting with our neighbours and raising funds to support local causes.

Our commitment extends to recycling and sustainability—our team accepts used eyeglasses that we donate to the Lions Club for recycling, helping provide eyewear to those in need. We also hold a special tradition each year to honour the memory of Dr. Laturnas, a beloved team member who was deeply dedicated to our community. In her memory, we proudly support the Wainwright Food Bank, raising funds to help those facing food insecurity, a cause that was close to her heart.
